Evolution is currently developing a system that will monitor the blood pressure waveform and the electrocardiograph signal, which will be amplified and filtered into separate analog-to-digital converters.  The digital signals will then be saved onto a compact flash card via a microprocessor that will perform digital signal analysis of the data to display the beat-to-beat time intervals.  The system will also be capable of recovering the data from the memory storage device to be transmitted via Wi-Fi technology to a personal digital assistant for visual analysis of the two signals being measured from the patient.

The project is divided amongst the team members in order to efficiently accomplish the objective. Marcos Bolaņos is responsible for designing a continuous blood pressure monitor and amplifying the output signal. Ricardo Parra is responsible for obtaining and amplifying a electrocardiogram signal. Izzac Gonzales is responsible for the wireless transmitter and the programming of the PDA with LabView. Christopher Martinez is responsible for programming the microprocessor and saving the signal information to memory.
